CPP elects Parliamentary Aspirant for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency

Breman Asikuma(CR), June 24, GNA - Mrs Comfort Wilson Aggrey 63, a retired educationist was last weekend elected Convention People's Party (CPP) Parliamentary Aspirant for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency in Election 2008. She was elected by popular acclamation when all the 94 delegates endorsed her candidature.

Breman Asikuma(CR), June 24, GNA - Mrs Comfort Wilson Aggrey 63, a retired educationist was last weekend elected Convention People's Party (CPP) Parliamentary Aspirant for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency in Election 2008. She was elected by popular acclamation when all the 94 delegates endorsed her candidature. The election was supervised by Mr Gabriel Dowuna Hammond, Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District Electoral Officer. Mrs Aggrey expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in her and called for unity and co-operation during the campaign to win the seat. Mr Adu Ansah, Central Regional Chairman of the Party appealed to activists and supporters of the Party not to be daunted by the allegations being made against their Flagbearer Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom but intensify their campaign to win the seat. Mr David Kofi Abekah, Former Constituency Chairman of the Party appealed to the National and the Central Regional Executive Committees to support the constituency with logistics to enable them intensify their campaign to win the seat.
