Prof. Edmund Delle addressing the media and CPP executives
The Convention People’s Party (CPP) is back on its feet to save Ghana from the doldrums, according to the national chairman of the party.
Speaking at the 67th anniversary of Ghana’s oldest party on Monday, Prof. Edmund Delle said the CPP remains united and poised to wrestle power come the November 7 elections.
According to him, the party which gave independence to Ghana is currently well positioned to move the country forward.
“CPP is the only party which can save Ghana from the country’s economic woes. CPP is the only party that can salvage the country from economic dependence,” Prof. Delle said at the party’s headquarters.
He noted: “The party is more united today and will continue with Nkrumah’s vision” if it comes to power.
He said the CPP is committed to peace, urging party members to let the spirit of unity and peace strengthen it. He invited all disgruntled members to come back to the party.
