Can Konadu Win Kwabre East & Ashanti?

Analytical Desk Report

In the political history of this country, it is on record that almost every Presidential aspirant wins his home constituency and region; will Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings be able to do same? In-depth research by the Informer newspaper’s Analytical Desk has it that, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah won Nzema and the Western Region, ‘Professor’ Kofi Abrefa Busia, the CIA agent, was able to win Wenchi and the Brong-Ahafo Region; Dr. Hilla Liman won Sisala and Upper West Region; Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings continued the tradition by winning Anlo/Keta, and the entire Volta Region. From available statistics also, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor followed the custom; and President Professor Atta Mills did justice to his home constituencies of Mfantsiman East/ West and the Central Region.

The Informer’s crystal ball, even sighted the main opposition leader, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo seizing Abuakwa North/South to side. Can Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings win Kwabre East/West, as well as the entire Ashanti Region? The answer is a big NO! Our research from the Ashanti Region in general and the former First Lady’s home constituency in particular, has shown that Nana Konadu is not accepted by her people, and may suffer in her bid to become President of the Republic of Ghana.

This is a fact and that is why we are shocked as to why she is deceiving herself that she can become President without the necessary support of her constituency and region?

Does she think Voltarians, Northerners, Fantes, Krobos, Gas, and Akyems, will vote for her, when she cannot convince her own people to vote for her? The day the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) elects an Ewe Flagbearer, that will be the day Volta, the ‘World Bank’ of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in particular and other strongholds of the NDC will accept an Ashanti candidate.

Nana Konadu better rescinds her wild-ambition before her own people humiliate her.
