The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has called for the amplification of women's stories and experiences across the nation.

Highlighting the unique challenges and triumphs that Ghanaian women face, while addressing a gathering of female journalists, Professor Opoku Agyemang underscored the importance of women's voices in shaping the country's progress.

Speaking passionately about the role of the media in societal development, Professor Opoku Agyemang emphasized that male journalists are not deliberately sidelining their female colleagues.

Instead, she called for a collaborative approach to storytelling that fosters national development and unity.

She urged the female journalists to move beyond surface-level reporting, encouraging them to delve into the complexities and nuances of women's lives in Ghana.

According to the NDC running mate, by sharing these stories, we empower Ghanaian women and ensure their experiences become an integral part of our national narrative.

This, she added, will in turn drive progress and growth for the entire country.
