PRESS STATEMENT
MND JAWULA AND HIS COHORTS UNDERMINING NPP SUCCESS IN SALAGA
We, the concerned youth of NPP by this open statement to the press wishes to condemn and refute vehemently the allegations laid at the door steps of the Boniface Campaign Team for defacing Nana’s posters on claims that we are peeved because he was not selected as Nana’s running mate.
Our claims are rooted in the following reasons;
1. We are the people who posted Nana’s posters all over town including Boniface Posters, why should we go defacing them?
2. Our ability to win also depends on how well we campaign using Nana’s name.
3. Abudu Suibu (jabote) made an open statement to vow that even if Boniface wins Nana wouldn’t select him as a Minister.
In furtherance to our claim, we are asking that;
1. Why did Jawula refuse to involve himself in our Campaign Launch?
2. He provided Motor Bikes to his brother Zakaria to distribute to the opposition group. How many did he give to NPP in Salaga?
3. He is a member of the Northern Regional Campaign; has he ever mounted any platform to campaign for NPP in Salaga?
We, the youth rather view Jawula to be sympathetic towards NDC rather than NPP in Salaga.
It is now an open secret in Salaga that a team comprising of Bismark (former DCE) Mahama Issah, Ahudu Sibu, Sulemana Bayira, Iddrisu Zakaria, Emmanuel Zakaria, Victor and Richard under the instrumentation of MND Jawula is visiting villages like Gurishi Zango, Gari Shanu, Mankango, Jida Turu to campaign against Hon. Boniface Candidature which certainly is a campaign against the NPP.
We call on the security forces to provide a temporary Military presence in Salaga come Dec. 7 otherwise Salaga would see electoral violence which may result to further escalations.
