President Akufo-Addo with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has warned Ghanaians against voting for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December 7 polls.
According to President Akufo-Addo, a vote for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC would reverse the nation’s progress, leading to a return to underdevelopment and hardship.
Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the Tema Motorway expansion, President Akufo-Addo emphasised that Mahama and the NDC offer no new vision for the country.
He called on voters to reject them at the polls, highlighting the necessity of maintaining the momentum of Ghana’s development.
“We are going forward. We are not going back to the era of stagnation and non-performance. We are going forward with [Dr. Mahamudu] Bawumia to a better, more inclusive and more prosperous Ghana,” the president asserted.
President Akufo-Addo passionately endorsed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the best candidate to steer Ghana’s development forward, stressing the critical need for continuity in governance to ensure the country’s continued progress.
