He said now that the various political parties were holding their primaries for Election 2004; they must look for people who really qualified and could perform creditably when elected.

Rev Nsiah was speaking at the Kwabre District Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting at Mamponteng on Tuesday.

The meeting organised by the Electoral Commission was to brief members of the Committee on the political developments in the District and efforts made to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections there. Rev Nsiah said very soon, the mopping up of the photo-taking exercise would begin and political parties should inform their supporters to be ready to get their photographs taken and issued with identity cards.

He urged them to work hard to educate their members on the electoral laws to enhance peaceful election. He said: "While educating them on political issues, we must also not forget to educate them on health related issues."
