Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gifas Herbal Centre, Dr. Stephen Appiagyei Donkor popularly called Gifas has declared his intention to run as chairman for the Techiman North Constituency on the ticket of governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dr. Appiagyei’s aspiration for the party’s top position in the constituency came as a bit surprising as he posted on social media on Wednesday to announce his intention.
The former programs manager of Agyenkwa FM promised to unite the rank and file of the party, especially at the grassroots level in the constituency which is the party’s strong fortress so that victory would be a done deal for the NPP in 2020.
According to him, his past experience as a journalist, having covered most elections in the country makes him prepared and determined to work for the NPP to benefit from his rich gains.
He said hard work, commitment to party duties, proper planning and management of party activities at constituency levels will be his hallmark, when elected as chairman.
Many of his friends especially those from the medial circle have however wished him well on his new move.
