In the wake of the 2024 General Elections, Dr. John Kpikpi, Leader of the Progressive Alliance of Ghana, has extended heartfelt congratulations to President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his resounding victory in both the presidential and parliamentary segments of the election.

In a statement, Dr. Kpikpi highlighted the rarity and significance of Mahama's second chance to lead the nation, expressing trust and hope that God will provide him with the wisdom and strength needed to serve Ghana's 34 million citizens equitably and to the best of his ability.

Dr. Kpikpi urged the incoming government to remain open to the wealth of nation-building ideas and plans developed by dedicated and caring Ghanaians worldwide. He emphasized the importance of broad national consultation that extends beyond party lines to address the country's recent challenges.

"We wish you the very best in your stewardship over the next four years and hope that, with God's help, you will lift our nation from its current abyss to a better place where all our people will live in integrity, happiness, and prosperity," Dr. Kpikpi stated.

The Progressive Alliance of Ghana leader concluded his message with a blessing for the incoming administration and the nation, expressing optimism for a brighter future under Mahama's leadership.

We at the Progressive Alliance of Ghana wish to extend our congratulations to you our new President -Elect John Dramani Mahama on your landslide victory in both the Presidential and the Parliamentary segments of the just ended 2024 General Elections.

To have a second chance to lead a nation is a rare opportunity and we trust and pray that God will give you all that you need to serve all the 34million people

of this country equitably and to the best of your ability.

We would like to urge you and your incoming Government not to close your eyes and ears to the many rich and positive nation building ideas, plans and compacts that many serious minded and caring Ghanaians the world over, have developed in response to the downward slide of our nation in recent years. We recommend a broad national consultation beyond the reaches of your party.

We wish you the very best in your stewardship over the next four years and that you will be able with God’s help, to lift up our nation from its current abyss to a better place where all our people will live in integrity, happiness and prosperity.
