Turn-out for the presidential run-off at various polling stations in the Awutu Senya Constituency was impressive on Sunday morning. At the Adam Nana Clinic Polling Station, the management of the clinic had to provide a secret place for voting because the "card booth" was not part of the election materials supplied to the centre.

Mr Daniel Takyi-Mensah, Presiding Officer of the Station said the Electoral Commission was going round distributing the card booths to the polling stations and hoped that they would receive it later. He said by 0930 hours a total of 135 people out of 1908 eligible voters had voted at the Clinic Station.

At Joe Mends "C" Polling Station, Miss Stella Abutia, Presiding Officer, said 500 out of 2731 eligible voters had cast their votes. Mr Justice Akrong, Presiding Officer of Joe Mends "A", also told the Ghana News Agency that by 1000 hours 580 out of 3,300 eligible voters had voted. Mr Charles Obo-Donkor, Presidng Officer of the Police station "A", said 800 people out of 3,678 voter population had voted by 0950 hours. In all the polling station the GNA visited, security personnel were seen aptly dressed ensuring that law and order prevailed.
