All New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Executives in the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira Constituency of the Western Region, have been elected unopposed to steer affairs of the party for another term in office.
They are Nana Effati Beyeman, the incumbent Chairman, Mr.Victor Kwodwo Dzorvakpo, the first Vice-Chairman, Madam Rosemary Eshun,2nd Vice-Chairman, Mr. Prince Charles Erzuah, Secretary and Mr. James Amachie Kainyah, an Assistant Secretary.
The rest are Mr. Isaac Kpolley, Treasurer, Mr. Eric Essien, Organizer, Madam Charlotte Nyankey, Women's Organizer, Mr. Samuel Dwomoh, Youth Organizer and Mr. Yakubu Nazhiru Awuni as Nasara Coordinator,
According to the Nzema East Municipal Electoral Commissioner, Madam Nana Ama Ofori, 19 party members picked forms to contest for the various positions but at the end of the vetting 9 members stepped down to allow the 10 to run unopposed and were however declared unopposed per the party's constitution.
A member of the Election Committee who is also the former Western Regional Women's Organiser, Mrs. Abena Kwallah expressed profound gratitude to the party members especially those who stepped down for the great love they have shown to the party.
She described the polls as very historic in the New Patriotic Party electoral records.

"This has shown that the constituency is solidly united", she expressed her excitement.
She therefore called on the party faithfuls to rally behind the Member of Parliament of the area and the NPP government for more development to spring out in the constituency.
In an acceptance speech, the constituency chairman, Nana Effate Beyeman thanked the party faithfuls for the confidence they have reposed in them hence pledged their commitment to work tirelessly to make the party most attractive in the constituency.
He also predicted that the NPP for the first time was going to win the Parliamentary seat back to back and make a history since 1992 under the fourth Republic, since no political party has won the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency seat and retained it.
Speaking to over 600 delegates and other party faithfuls, Madam Catherine Afeku who is the Member of Parliament for the area and Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts advised the party executives to be humble to everybody and listen to everybody.
She revealed that this overwhelming endorsement given to the executives is as a result of unity and togetherness and used the occasion to appeal to party supporters to be patient with the NPP government to better their living conditions.
"We are engaging over four hundred youth into cocoa spraying exercise as Cocoa Pollinators, We are also building a new edifice for Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), President Akufo-Addo is coming to cut the sod for the construction of a sea defence project at Axim, We are also building a DVLA office in the Constituency and we are bringing more developments", she emphasized.
The Minister also reaffirmed her commitment to retain the seat for the NPP for the first time in the history of parliamentary elections in the area and therefore charged the party grassroots to be united and learn from her and the MCE for the area as they both move together always.
Mr. Frank Okpeyen who was the Constituency Secretary and now a Municipal Chief Executive for the area, added that the party members have shown to the whole Ghana that indeed when it comes to party unity, the NPP Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency is number one hence with this unity, the NPP is going to retain the seat in 2020.
He used the occasion to talk about a number of projects the NPP government has embarked on and charged the party members not to allow the NDC propaganda to sway them from what the government was doing.
He commended President Akufo-Addo for the implementation of the Free SHS policy across the country to reduce burden of parents drastically.
Adding that the NPP government has the development of Nzema East at heart and according to him, telecommunication networks have been erected in the Gwira area which is predominantly cocoa grown area.
Mr. Okpeyen also revealed that plans were far advance to establish a cocoa depot in the Gwira area to help cocoa farmers to market their beans there.
The NPP Western Regional Acting Chairman, Mr. Francis Ndede Siah was overjoyed with the total endorsement the party faithfuls have shown to the executives which was a mark of great unity in the party.
"Since we started this year's constituency executive elections we have not seen some before and I'm very happy about your support", he excited.
The NPP has so far conducted smooth elections in 22 Constituencies out of 26 Constituencies of the Western Region, with the rest characterized by court injunctions.
The NPP has started an electoral process that will culminate into a National Delegates Conference, slated for June, 2018 this year where national executives will be elected.
