Life is certainly not all rosy with the National Women's Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as she has revealed that there are five women within the party trying to make life unbearable for her.

Madam Anita De Sooso tells Okay FM that her subordinates showed her gross disrespect when they decided to visit Ghana's First Lady, Lordina Mahama, to commiserate with her after she had lost a sibling.

According to her, little did she know that her subordinates could usurp her authority by breaching the hierarchical chain and do official things without her knowledge.

"...I was pleasantly surprised to learn five of my mates are pooling resources to kick me out of office.

"There is one Nana from Brong Ahafo Region who is ably supported by Sapomah from Ashanti Region, Anita from Western Region; Evelyn from Eastern Region and Vivian from Greater Accra Region," she said.

Madam De Sooso was, however, convinced that despite the orchestration to get her out of office, she would emerge victorious when the time comes for delegates to renew the mandate of or vote out current national executives.

She announced that there were about 600 delegates she knows would endorse her candidature as against the five ‘infamous’ women ganging up against her.

But in a related development, Madam Evelyn Korang, the Eastern Regional Women's Organiser of the NDC debunked assertions that the group tried to do official things behind the back of the National Women's Organiser.

She explained that as a group, they decided to visit the First Lady when they heard she had lost a relative and called Madam De Sooso to make arrangements for the visit only for her (Anita) to inform them that she "was unable to make it because she has another engagement to attend".

"...It is never true that Mrs. Lordina Mahama drove us out of her house when we visited her at Kintampo without Madam De Sooso as part of the team," she added.
