Four pick Council of State nomination forms in Eastern Region

Koforidua, Jan. 22, GNA - Four persons have taken nomination forms to contest for Council of State membership in the Eastern Region. They include Reverend Mrs Paullina Yeboah, a retired educationist, Dr Adolph Appiah, a medical doctor, Nana Kodua Kesse, Chief of Oyoko and Adontehene of the New Juaben Traditional area and Osabarima Owusu Gyamadu III, chief of Akyem Anyinase. Mr Eric Osei-Bonsu, Deputy Eastern Regional Director of the Electoral Commission (EC), who told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Koforidua on Thursday, said the four persons were expected to file their nominations between January 25th and 27th 2009. He said the election had been scheduled for February 10, 2009. 22 Jan. 09
