Mankranso (Ash), Nov. 18, GNA - Ghana's Ambassador to Togo, Mr Kwabena Mensah Bonsu has donated five bicycles and five million cedis to the Ahafo Ano South Constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The donation of the bicycles and cash is to facilitate the Party's campaign in the Constituency towards Election 2004. The Ambassador made the donation at the launching of the Party's campaign in the Constituency at Mankranso during which the campaign team was introduced to the supporters.

Speaking at the launching, Mr Stephen Balado Manu, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate and incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for the area called for a massive vote for the NPP in both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He said the electorate should judge the NPP by its performance over this relatively short period of time in office and see the tremendous amount of good work it had done and return the Party to power.

Mr Balado Manu asked them to disregard the vile propaganda of their political opponents and give President John Agyekum Kufuor and NPP Parliamentarians the nod in December.

Mr Kwaku Obeng Boateng, Ahafo Ano South District Chief Executive, announced that all the 160 communities in the District had been provided with at least a project ranging from potable water, places of convenience to rehabilitated roads.

He, therefore, asked the electorate to renew the mandate of the Party in the December elections Mr Joseph Agyemang Dapaah, Constituency Chairman of the Party, called on the members to avoid petty squabbles and to unite to move the Party on to victory.

He commended the members, sympathisers and Executives for their dedication, understanding and support for the Party and urged them to continue to support it to deliver.
