Ghanaian coach, Sarfo Castro believes Ghanaians were partial towards former GFA President Kwasi Nyantakyi, following FIFA wrath on him.
A section of the media says the punishment melted on the former CAF first President was too severe.And experienced Ghanaian trainer Sarfo Castro is the latest to speak on the aforementioned issue.
The Former Wa All Stars trainer opined that Ghanaians didn’t give Nyantakyi fair hearing when passing judgement because of well package scheme unleashed against Nyantakyi.
The renowned football administrator was banned from all related football activities by the world governing body FIFA following corruption accusation on him by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.A piece dubbed 'Number 12'.
“All these accusation and problems should rather be put at the door step of club owners. Ghanaians were not fair to Kwesi Nyantakyi after the #12 video”.
“The Clubs paid money to the referees to influence matches but no club was punished so why are we lambasting only Nyantakyi”, Coach Sarfo Castro said.
The former FIFA Council member has however tabled an appeal to FIFA appeals committee, awaiting hearing.
