Mr Victor Smith, the Eastern Regional Minister, has reiterated the government’s commitment to provide development projects in communities to enhance development, irrespective of their political affiliations.
Mr Smith was speaking at Jejeti in the Kwahu West District when he inaugurated a six-unit classroom block with a library, staff common room and toilet facilities.
He urged the people to support government’s implementation of its “better Ghana agenda” to ensure development for all.
Mr. Smith said the government would do everything possible to ensure that it fulfilled all its promises to the people.
He said the facility was part of the “better Ghana agenda” the government promised the people and urged them to develop maintenance culture to ensure that it had a long life span.
The Minister earlier inspected a completed library block and a computer laboratory block for 10 clusters of schools at Akoamoa Acheampong Junior High School (JHS).
Mr. Smith also inspected Atibiehene Akora Bridge and later inaugurated a market at Asubone all in the district.
He also met with the Muslim community at Nkawkaw where they appealed to him to help find solution to their water problem.**
