Accra, Sept. 1, GNA 96 The Greater Accra Regional Branch of the Convention People's Party (CPP) is to revamp its structures at the grassroots, especially at the polling stations. A statement issued in Accra on Friday by Mr Jonathan Attoh, Greater Accra Regional Secretary, said the branch would organise monthly public forums at the National Headquarters from September 7 at which topical national issues would be discussed. He urged constituency executives and the general membership to be committed to the restructuring.

A statement issued in Accra on Friday by Mr Jonathan Attoh, Greater Accra Regional Secretary, said the branch would organise monthly public forums at the National Headquarters from September 7 at which topical national issues would be discussed. He urged constituency executives and the general membership to be committed to the restructuring. The statement said members of the Party in the Region expressed concern about some groups outside the Party structures which claim to be CPP but whose utterances and actions did not conform to the tenets of the Party's Constitution and laid down procedures. They, therefore, called on the National Leadership to come out clearly with the status of all such groups since their actions were dividing the Party's front.
