Hammah inspects roads in his constituency

The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Mr. Mike Allen Hammah, has appealed to Ghanaians to reciprocate the good works of the government and return it into power during the December general elections.

Mr. Hammah, who is also the Member of Parliament of Effutu, said this when addressing the chiefs and elders of Akosua Village, Walababa and Gyingyinadze after inspecting some development projects there.

The projects are being financed by the government, and includes reshaping and tarring of the four-kilometer South Campus roads of the University of Education, Winneba-Akosua Village and the Central Regional Police Training School Parade grounds.

The others are provision of pipe-born water at Gyingyinadze and construction of road at Winneba Zongo.

Mr. Hammah said the numerous projects the government was undertaking to improve the lot of the people are indications that it has their welfare at heart.

He appealed to the people in the area to send their children to school to enable them become useful future citizens.

He appealed to the chiefs to report anything they do not understand about the projects to the Assembly instead of having confrontation with the contractors.**
