The Director of Elections for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Martin Agyei Mensah-Korsah, has said he is in love with the new logo created by Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC).
This is contrary to his earlier position on the new logo before the launch of it.
Initially, he thought the introduction of a new logo for the EC was immaterial at this moment in the election year.
But speaking in an interview with Ekourba Gyasi, host of TOP FM’s morning show on Wednesday, Martin took a U-turn to say that “I love it [new logo].”
He, however, questioned the posture of the EC Boss, Charlotte Osei on how she responded to some of the questions asked her during the launch of the logo.
For instance, it has been established that the EC’s new logo is the same as that of a Turkish training institute. But addressing this matter, Charlotte Osei said the institute could go to court if they feel their logo has been plagiarized.
Martin finds this answer inappropriate.
