The General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia has denied admitting that every government is guilty of nepotism.
General Mosquito while contributing to the nepotism debate in an interview, was reported to have said that President Akufo-Addo is not the only president running a government full of relatives and cronies.
“Akufo-Addo is only using his power of appointment to serve his personal and family interest. Yes, I admit Akufo-Addo is not the only president to appoint his family and friends into government but our problem is that the list is just too much and breeds corruption,” he reportedly said on Nhyira FM‘s ‘Kro Yi Mu Nsem’.
However, speaking to Adakabre on Neat FM's Me Man Nti programme, General Mosquito denied making those remarks.
"It's a lie. I personally record everything I say and I never said that; where is the audio? let them play the audio. I rather spoke against nepotism; describing it as the highest form of corruption..." he indicated.
