The MP-elect for the Ablekuma West constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Reverend Dr. Kwaku Addo, has revealed his intentions for his constituency.
Speaking to Kasapa FM, he said he did not promise to build facilities but to provide honest and impactful leadership.
“I didn’t promise to build a school or hospital. I promised that I would give them honest and impactful leadership. I will be truthful to them and make sure everything I do will benefit my constituency,” he said.
He continued that the people of the Ablekuma West constituency supported him during the 2024 election because of the unfulfilled promises of the previous MP.
“The previous MP was there for four years before her party came to power, but when her party came to power, we didn’t see any change in Ablekuma West. So this year, we were focused and aggressive to make sure we win. The entire constituency was behind me this time around,” he stated.
He added that he believes President-elect John Dramani Mahama will deliver based on what he has promised.
“After having been in power and having been home and seen what has gone on, there is no way he will come, and things will not be better.”
