Acting General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has called on members of the party especially its leaders to be up and doing on their daily activities to give the party its expected victory on 7th November in memory of the late Jake Obetsebi -Lamptey.

“The death of Jake Obetsebi -Lamptey has really affected the party, but this should rather keep us fit as we intensify our works towards the coming elections to realize his(Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey) dream concerning the party, than keep mourning him as we bring to a standstill our daily activities,” he said.

He added that members of the NPP should reduce their sleeping hours to work extra hours in order to get the Mahama led administration out of office because they have nothing good to offer the citizens of this nation.

“Members of the NPP would never forget Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey for his sacrifices made for the party since 1992 and have always shared his views and knowledge to enhance the party’s credibility all the days of his life,” he indicated in an interview with OKAY FM’s morning show host Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie.

According to him, party members are yet to meet the families of the deceased for the necessary arrangements made after his death.
