Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Member of Parliament for Damongo, has sparked intense political discussions within the Damongo constituency following two powerful mini rallies in his constituency on August 9 and 10, 2024, at Busunu Electoral Area and Zongo/Langbonto Electoral Area, respectively.

These rallies were part of a series of engagements aimed at deepening his connection with the electorate and reaffirming his achievements.

Jinapor's rallies, marked by large crowds and enthusiastic support, underscored his influence and popularity within the constituency.

His ability to draw significant numbers of supporters to these events has sent ripples through the NPP, showcasing his solid base and the trust his constituents place in him.

During these engagements, Jinapor not only highlighted his track record of delivering essential services and infrastructure but also demonstrated his continued commitment to the welfare of his people.

His speeches, filled with confidence and a clear vision for the future, resonated strongly with attendees, further solidifying his standing as a key figure in the region.

These rallies serve as a reminder of Jinapor’s political influence and the potential challenges he poses within the region’s political dynamics.

As he continues his constituency-wide engagements, the impact of his actions is sure to be felt both locally and within the broader regional political landscape.

Jinapor at the rally reminded the constituents about his key promises in his campaign prior to the 2020 election and enthusiastically outlined the several initiatives he has carried out to better the lives of his constituents: youth empowerment and jobs, road construction, infrastructure, farmers’ empowerment, women's empowerment, health development, and educational empowerment.

During his address on youth empowerment and job creation, Samuel Abu Jinapor emphasized the numerous opportunities he has facilitated for members of his constituency across various sectors.

He proudly recalled his efforts in securing positions for the youth in key agencies, including the Police, Prison Service, Immigration Service, Ambulance Service, Fire Service, Audit Service, Military, Forestry Commission, Lands Commission, and Mining Commission, among others.

He confidently asserted that his track record in creating employment opportunities for youth far surpasses that of his predecessor, underscoring his dedication to improving the livelihoods of his constituents.

His remarks reinforced his ongoing commitment to fostering economic growth and development through sustained efforts at job creation.

He highlighted a number of these accomplishments, including the refurbishment of the Bunsunu Health Centre, the construction of a maternity ward at Larabanga, a vital community facility, the facilitation of some communities' connection to the national grid, the construction of three Astro turf parks at Larabanga, Damongo, and Busunu, the construction of school buildings in several communities, the drilling of boreholes in several communities to ensure potable drinking water, and the provision of bicycles to some basic students so they could commute to and from school.

At the mini-rally in Busunu, he recounted the need to improve the health systems of the people. He went a step further and gave the community a brand new ambulance. The people were astonished, and they overwhelmingly welcomed the gesture wholeheartedly.

He also seized the opportunity to drum home the importance of voting for him and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia so that more development can be experienced by the constituencies under the leadership of H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the president and Samuel Abu Jinapor as the Member of Parliament for Damongo constituency.

This plea and many more send shivers down the spine of the NDC in the Savannah Region, as they know the influence the venerable lawmakers and ministers wield in the constituency and region-wide.

The donation of the ambulance, along with the ongoing renovation of the health centre, underscores Jinapor’s dedication to the well-being of his constituents.

It serves as a reminder of the critical role that accessible healthcare plays in the development and prosperity of any community.

Through such initiatives, Samuel Abu Jinapor continues to demonstrate his resolve to uplift his constituency, making tangible improvements that directly benefit the lives of those he serves.
