The NDC's parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central, Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has already made a powerful impact in her constituency, showcasing a dedication to community development that is as inspiring as it is effective.

Despite not yet being an official Member of Parliament, her initiatives across various sectors reflect her commitment to enhancing the lives of her people. Her efforts span energy, water, and sanitation, leaving a lasting imprint on Amenfi Central and setting a high standard for service.

In the energy sector, Mrs. Joana Gyan has championed reliable power access by funding and facilitating the replacement of power transformers in areas such as Kyeikrom and Wuratrem Domeabra. To improve safety and visibility, she has also donated streetlights across the Kwamang Electoral Area and other parts of the Kwamang community.

Her support extends to religious institutions as well; she sponsored an electricity meter for an Islamic group in Bantoma, promoting their community activities. Additionally, she replaced streetlights in Beposo and coordinated the replacement of an electric pole in Tuntum, enhancing the stability and reliability of power for residents.

Water and sanitation are equally prioritized in her outreach. She has personally funded five mechanized boreholes in Agona Amenfi, Jeduakese, and Agona Nyamebekyere, which have greatly improved access to clean drinking water. In Ohenekrom, she oversaw the mechanization of an existing borehole, while in Ankamateng, she donated a 5,000-liter poly tank to support water storage needs.

Her focus on maintenance is evident, as she has funded the repair and upkeep of boreholes in Sraha-Yiem and Manhyia-Wuratrem to ensure uninterrupted access to potable water. Additionally, her recent sponsorship of a borehole completion in Kyeikrom exemplifies her unwavering commitment to the community’s welfare.

Even before taking office, Mrs. Joana Gyan Cudjoe left a legacy of progress and development in Amenfi Central. Her proactive involvement, personal investments in community projects, and transformative work across energy and water sectors have garnered her widespread admiration and trust.

The people of Amenfi Central eagerly look forward to casting their votes in December 2024, confident that her leadership will bring even more substantial growth and improvements to the constituency. ObaanaaForDevelopment!
