Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong
A leading member of the Kennedy Agyapong campaign team and convener for Citizen Eye, Ghana, Alex Tetteh, has disclosed that the Assin Central Member of Parliament will join Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign team very soon.
According to him, the businessman is currently in the United States of America and will be back in the coming weeks to support the New Patriotic Party to victory.
"Kennedy Agyapong is currently in the United States of America. He will be back soon and will join the campaign to help Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia become president. He said after the primaries that he would join the campaign, and that is what he will do," he said.
"We even advised him to go independent, but he saw what we said as not making sense. Kennedy is an institution, so he decided to stay with the party, unlike Alan Kyerematen, who decided to leave when he lost."
Alex Tetteh, who was speaking on Accra-based Okay FM, used the opportunity to apologize to anyone they may have offended during the primaries, inviting everyone to come on board to help the capable Bawumia win the election.
