Ardent critic of the Mahama-led NDC government, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, seems frustrated by the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.
The former NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa, who has repeatedly questioned the President on when Ghana’s erratic power supply, also known as “dumsor dumsor”, will end under his reign has again charged him [Mahama] to solve the problem this year.
The outspoken ex-Kumasi mayor took to Facebook to express his worry after describing President Mahama as an inept leader.
“Truth crushed to the ground will rise. The problem with dumsor dumsor is not lack of production capacity. We have an abundance of it. What is happening is because the government did not have money to buy the fuel or gas to power the thermal plants. Period.
“..Now that fuel prices are less than one-third of what it used to be a year ago. What is your excuse now, Prez Mahama? Stop the dumsor dumsor now. I am sick and tired of your incompetence,” he bemoaned
