CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM LAWYER ADWOA SAFO TO SOPHIA KAREN ACKUAKU

In my capacity as the Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP for Dome – Kwabenya and on behalf of the Executives and members of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency, I wish to extend my congratulations to Miss Karen Sophia Akuako for being elected as the Parliamentary Candidate for the Dome/ Kwabenya constituency on the ticket of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

As a female, your Victory is a testament to the trust and confidence that is being gradually reposed in us as women to be in the fore front of leadership and contribute our quota to national development.

The onus is on us to live up to the billing and expectation, with the strongest mindset, and the focus never to disappoint our people.

The rigorous campaign you embarked upon, taking due cognizance of the caliber of personalities who contested you, and the fact that you soared above them, lends credence to the kind of personality you are made of.

As you become my main contender for national elections to elect who represents the Dome /Kwabenya constituency in parliament, I want to call on you for us to embark upon a decent and clean campaign devoid of insults and acrimony.

Let us engage in a contest of ideas and give our discerning electorates a better option to choose between us. The core reason is for us to offer ourselves to serve and make the lives of the people of Dome/Kwabenya better.

Once again accept my regards to you as the choice to represent the National Democratic Congress in the impending general elections come next year, but also to reiterate the fact that we are working vigorously to retain the seat for the NPP and maximize votes for our flag bearer and we shall be victorious.

Let us engage in a decent and cleaner campaign and may the best emerge as the winner. Thank you.
