Lawyer James Enu, aka “homeboy” NDC parliamentary candidate for Tema west , this afternoon paid a visit to the community two market to fraternize with the market women, to unveil his plans, and to assure them of ensuring the fulfillment of the promises made by the John Mahama government for the constituency , if voted to be the minister of parliament.
This was after he had attended the world teacher’s day celebration event at the Salvation Army School in Tema.
At the said event, he made the policies on education of the John Mahama government clear, as well as the importance of Teachers in the development of the nation.
Also in attendance was Carlos Ahinkora, his rival in the race for the parliamentary seat.
Lawyer Enu then proceeded to the Tema community two market as mentioned earlier on, to meet the traders, and assure them of his commitment to assist them if they gave him the nod to go to parliament.
He was welcomed with shouts of “homeboy” as he interacted with them.
“Home boy” as he prefers to be identified with, is poised to capture the Tema West seat from the New Patriotic Party, who have held it since the National Democratic congress last won it in 1992.
