Ledzokuku MP builds GHC250k ultramodern NPP constituency office

The Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr. Okoe Boye has cut sod for the construction of a new ultramodern constituency office for the New Patriotic Party at Teshie ECOMOG Park.

The ultramodern office complex estimated to cost around GHC250,000 will be the first of its kind as it will have a toilet facility, office space, a conference room at the top floor and a meeting space on the ground floor plus a car parking space.

Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony held today, August 3, Dr. Okoe Boye said the construction of the facility will take eight months to complete as construction works have already started.

According to him, “today, we did not only cut sod but also started the real concrete works and construction of an ultramodern office complex. This office, the first of it's kind in the constituency since multi-party politics started in this constituency, would have a toilet facility, office space, a conference room at the top floor and a meeting space on the ground floor plus a car parking space”.

However, it was revealed that the land on which the facility will be built on was donated by the family of the Member of Parliament of the constituency.

Dr. Okoe Boye further stated that “this is a commendable move and is expected to bring honour to the people of Ledzokuku, the New Patriotic Party and the President of the Republic, His Excellency, Nana Akufo-Addo”.

The occasion was graced by the political Assistant of the Chief of Staff, Frank Asiedu Bekoe who represented the Chief of Staff and donated GHC10,000 in support of the construction of the office complex.

Titus Nii Kwartei Glove, Tema East MP who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Transport and Lawyer Jerry Ahmed, CEO of Coastal Development Authority were there as well and supported the project with building materials.
