Let there be peace and unity in NDC - Fuseini

Tamale, April 26, GNA - Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, has appealed to members of the party to eschew petty rivalry and rather help the party to retain power in the 2012 polls. He said peace, unity and patience were necessary ingredients the NDC needed to ensure a resounding victory in the 2012 Elections and advised members to remained united and focus on winning more members for the party.

Alhaji Fuseini made the appeal during a tour of his constituency on Sunday to inspect ongoing development projects that he had initiated to solve the infrastructure needs of the people. The projects comprised a 12-unit two-storey classroom block for the Queen Elizabeth Day Nursery being funded under the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) at the cost of GH¢417,000; a 3-unit classroom block and a six-seater KVIP for the St. Joseph's JHS at the cost of GH¢228,000 and 3-unit classroom block built with funds from the District Wide Assisted Projects (DWAP).


The rest were a six-unit classroom block including KVIP, an office and a store for the United Primary School at the cost of GH¢150,000, a clinic for the Moshie Zongo community at the cost of GH¢73,000 funded by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and the construction of a 20-seater public toilet each at Salamba and Lamakara-Zogoli with fence walls at the cost of GH¢112,000 each from the reserved funds of the District Assembly's Common Fund. Alhaji Fuseini said the government's 93Better Ghana Agenda" was o= n course and appealed to Ghanaians to remain patient and renew the government's term to continue with its development agenda. He said the NDC was a listening Government and what was important was to address the concerns of Ghanaians to justify the confidence the people reposed in President John Evans Atta Mills and the NDC in 2008 to govern the country.

He said the national cake would be distributed equitably and that people must remained patient, united and support the government to deliver on its 93Better Ghana Agenda" promise. Some of the people in all the places the MP visited pledged to support the NDC solidly and advised the leadership of the party to constantly explain the development agenda to Ghanaians.
