Mr. Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Member of Parliament for Asokwa Constituency has appealed to executives of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy (TESCON) of New Patriotic Party, to mobilize the students to vote for the party in the coming elections.

He said the NPP government was committed to implementing the free Senior High School (SHS) policy to benefit all in its quest to improve quality education in the country.

Mr. Jumah said this at the swearing-in ceremony of TESCON new executives of the University of Ghana City Campus in Accra under the theme “Making the free SHS policies of the NPP a reality”.

He urged the new executives to propagate the policies of the NPP to the public to help win political power.

Mr. Emmanuel Agyarko, Parliamentary Aspirants for Ayawaso West Wuogon, said that no country can develop without education and that developing countries like Uganda and Botswana have been able to implement free education policy.

Mr Agyarko said the NPP is poised to ensure the fulfillment of the promise of free Senior High School education and called for all to support the party to recapture power in the December elections.

Mr. Kwame Bamfo-Asante, the in-coming President of TESCON City Campus branch, promised to work hard to mobilize the students in ensuring the growth of the branch from strength to strength.
