Presenting the cheque to the Constituency Parliamentary Elections Committee (PEC) made of the Constituency Secretary, Dan Fosu flanged by Mrs. Yankey, a member of the Council of Elders and Mr. Francis Okyere, the Constituency Financial Secretary, Mr. Asamoah Debrah said the Alhaji Boniface’s campaign for re-elections 2021 will be devoid of mudslinging, personal attacks and foul speech irrespective of the provocation.

‘We are going to make sure we sell the good works of our candidate who has done tremendously well in the past three years as MP.

This is the time for all the players in the game to desist from condemning each other in the April 25, 2020 primary of the party’ he said.

We pledge to be decorous in the process to canvass for more votes for the MP and the sitting president His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for a resounding over the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) come December 7, 2020.

He took the opportunity to thank the party leadership for the warm welcome shown them by the executives.

He said the executives have shown that they are poised for unity during and after the primary adding that since the members announced the decision to pick the forms for the MP, the atmosphere has been full of party interest.

‘In some Constituencies across the regions ‘we have heard about supporters of aspirants not being able to meet executives at the party office to enable them pick forms he added.

I want to use this opportunity to commend your leadership for the fairness you have shown to all the aspirants in the race for the Madina seat on the ticket of the NPP’ he averred.

He told the gathering that this campaign period is an opportunity to sell the good works of the MP as a peace-loving man and ready to fight for the course of the constituents.

We are aware Alhaji Boniface has done a lot in terms of projects which have not been properly sold to the good people of the Madina Constituency and this the campaign will afford members of his campaign team for that matter party members to do so in the coming days as part of the processes to canvassing for votes.

We are hitting the ground running with the picking of nomination forms and members are ready to ensure ‘Four More’ for Alhaji Boniface.

Releasing the nomination forms to the group, the Constituency Secretary cautioned members of the party to be wary of all their actions not to create a fertile ground for some elements in the opposition NDC to latch on in the main elections.

He said what you say about each other in this primary will be used against your candidate or the other candidate so be careful of what you say during this campaign.

He further said since the party opened nominations only two personalities have picked forms and they are the former Constituency Chairman, Michael Kofi Mckenzie and the incumbent MP and Minister of State.

‘So out of the ten forms released from the National Headquarters of the party only two has been exhausted and the process is expected to end on February Sunday 2, 2020.

He said the situation as its stand is open to anybody who believes he or she is NPP but the party’s Vetting Committee will sieve the chaffs after forms picking and submission.
