Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says President John Dramani Mahama does not understand the meaning of plagiarism hence his denial for not copying the policies outlined by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an interview with Kaakyire Ofori Ayim, on Atinka AM Drive on Friday, Anthony Karbo stated that plagiarism does not only apply to copying documented policies of someone.
He mentioned that copying intellectual property of another person can be equated to plagiarism.
According to Karbo, the President’s claims of not copying the NPP’s manifesto does not hold water because Nana Addo Dankwa’s ‘one village, one dam’ policy among other policies were never mentioned by the NDC until the NPP presidential candidate decided to outline them.
He hinted that as a sitting president, John Dramani Mahama could have gone ahead to implement those policies and not wait to be voted into power for the second term before implementing them.
