Mahama was born to be a 'follower' not a 'leader' – Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako says Mr John Dramani Mahama has no leadership qualities in spite of the fact that he once served as President of the Republic.

According to him, John Mahama never exhibited any good leadership skills during his tenure as president – describing him as “Ghana’s worst president in history”.

He was of a view that the former first gentleman of the land “was born to be a follower...He is not a leader, he failed the whole country when he had the opportunity to lead.”

Wontumi, as affectionately called in politics in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ also noted that “President Nana Addo has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is a leader and cannot be compared to Mahama who is just a follower with no vision.”

He explained that, “President Nana Addo’s vision to include other political members who are capable to work for Ghana tells how serious he is to move this country forward”

“Martin Amidu’s nomination and acceptance by President Nana Addo tells how eager the president is to fight against corruption,” he added
