Mrs Yvonne Ndoum, Wife of the Founder of the Progressive Peoples Party, on Monday met board members of the Accra Markets Limited at the Kaneshie Market Complex, where she also addressed the market women.

The visit was to bring to bear the ideologies and strategies of the PPP to the board members and the market women, to convince and encourage them to vote massively for the founder.

Mrs Ndoum noted that, the PPP after barely five months of existence, has been able to stand firm with the commitment of all members, adding that, they are a serious party and would want all Ghanaians to rally behind them.

She said “as Ghanaians we have the right to choose, but it was important for all to look at the aspirants who have enough experience to lead the nation and make the right choices”.

Mrs Ndoum also indicated that, it was not important for presidents to have two terms, but what was important was how well they are able to affect the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian positively.

She said amongst all the aspirants, her Husband was the most qualified to run the country since he has enough experience and can do a lot to improve on the current situation in the country within three years.

She urged the people to listen very well to their message and try as much as possible to spread it to the ordinary Ghanaian to help win the general elections in December.

Mr Kofi Dukum, Chief Executive Officer of the Accra Markets Limited, Kaneshie Market Complex, thanked her for choosing the market as her first visit, saying that, they were very happy since her visit was the very first by any political party.

He said as Ghanaians “if we want to develop at the pace that we desire, it was important for us to change our orientation of choosing political heads”.

Mr Dukum urged the party to work very hard in order to achieve the dreams of the founder.

“As party members, you need to hold on to your goals and with strong passion and desire you would be able to achieve your dreams”, he added.

He urged all who believe in the views of the PPP to support and vote for them in the upcoming general elections.**
