The late Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party who died through an acid attack on Thursday May 21 is reported to have told close relatives including his wife whom his attackers were.
According to a younger brother of late Alhaji Mahama Adams, his late brother named his attackers before passing on. Muazah Musah told Accra based Rainbow Radio 87.5 fm with studios in London that though his brother is a Muslim his burial will be delayed due to the circumstances surrounding his death.
He appealed to Ghanaians to allow the security agencies to investigate and bring the culprits to book and stop reading political meanings into it. Muazah Musah disclosed that the family is devastated by the incident. He denied allegations that his brother organized thugs to beat and disorganize a meeting by the National Officers of the NPP which many believe might have resulted in his attack.
The brother of the late chairman says he is optimistic that his family and the New Patriotic Party will emerge strong from this shock.
