NAPO's Unveiling: Watch the first shots from the Kumasi Jubilee Park

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be unveiling its vice-presidential candidate for the forthcoming 2024 presidential election, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, today, Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

This comes after the leadership of the NPP accepted that NAPO was the flagbearer of the party, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's chosen running mate.

GhanaWeb will be bringing you all the updates from the venue of the unveiling, the Kumasi Jubilee Park in the Ashanti Region, the stronghold of the party.

The GhanaWeb team on the ground has captured some of the final preparatory works for the much-anticipated unveiling.

The Kumasi Jubilee Park can be seen beautifully decorated with the colors of the NPP as well as flyers and posters of NAPO and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

There is also a heavy security presence at the venue for the event.

Also, the first part of the unveiling is expected to be held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
