Mr Daniel Eko, the Krachi-West Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the weekend retained his position at a constituency conference at Kete-Krachi.
Mr Eko together with six others and their deputies were retained unopposed by delegates to run the affairs of the Party for the next four years.
The other Executives are; Mr Alex Kwame Gyingyi, Vice Chairman, Adonae Daniels Ananey, Secretary, Asante Oyade, Deputy Secretary, Abdallah Baako, Treasurer, Tachum John, Deputy Treasurer.
The rest are; Wayo Nicholas, Youth Organizer, Veronica Afriyie, Women Organizer, Ndemey Onfre, Propaganda Secretary and Alhaji Amuda Romeo Baba, Organizer and their deputies.
The only competitive position was that of Women’s Organizer, which Madam Veronica Afriyie won with 53 votes as against 12 for Madam Salamatu Chifilu.
Ms Helen Adjoa Ntoso, Volta Regional Minister, urged the new Executives to “move into action” and propagate achievements of the NDC government.
“The government is on track. We have done a lot but some people are refusing to see our achievements. Don’t listen to them. They are detractors. Propagate the achievements,” she said.
Mr Henry Ametepe, Volta Regional Organizer of the Party, described the 2016 elections as critical and appealed to the Executives to “start working for a massive victory.”
