President John Dramani Mahama will be casting his ballot in the Bole constituency of the Northern region today, Saturday, November 21, as voting is underway in 267 out of the 275 constituencies in the NDC's presidential and parliamentary primaries across the country.
Mahama, who is a former MP for the constituency, is registered as a voter in that space.
A party communication indicates he is expected at his polling center at 2pm.
The President has asked members of the governing National Democratic Congress to conduct themselves with decorum in the presidential and parliamentary primaries.
Voters have so far reported in their numbers at the 8,234 polling centers where about two million members of the party are expected to cast their ballots.
The process is running smoothly in some constituencies but others, including the Ningo-Prampram and the Klottey Korley constituencies have recorded massive anomalies in their voter register system.
Aspirants, Sam George of Ningo-Prampram and Dr. Zanetor Rawlings of Klottey Korley cannot find their names in the register of their constituencies.
Injunctions have been placed on the Akwatia, Ketu South, North Tongu, Nkwanta South, Bunkpurugu and the Chiana Paga constituencies.
