Defeated General Secretary Aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyido believes that members of his party make a living through insults and needless attacks.

Mr. Anyidoho said he is unfazed by insults hurled at him by some persons for no apparent reason indicating that he is more focused in life than allowing himself to be swayed by these attacks.

“It does not daunt me when I am insulted for no apparent reason…it does not worry me because even the US produce economic hit men to move around nations and hit around small small nations. So if human beings decide to be hit men for their fellow human beings and you are used to come after me, why should it worry me?” he quizzed on Accra-based Asempa Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

He recalled how recently someone who had been paid to attack him in the heat of the National Executive elections later came apologizing.

“About three weeks ago, you know I walk round my community and this young man walks up to me and mentions his name and said I want to apologize to you. I asked apologize for what? I told him I don’t know him but he said some of us were put up to say all kinds of things about you when you were contesting”, he revealed.

According to him, the unnamed young man said the people who contracted them to embark on such an image-smearing campaign are nowhere to be found but has afforded them the opportunity to get to know he (Anyidoho) better.

“I said everywhere, it happens in the church, it happens at homes in families, it happens football teams so if it happens in politics why should I be surprised”, he quizzed.
