A former Deputy Minister Attorney General and Minister of Justice Kwame Osei-Prempeh, is advising members of the party who may be traveling from other areas to the Ashanti region to vote on election day to use other means of transport either than VIP buses.

He alleges that there is a grand conspiracy by members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and operators of the buses to frustrate such travelers aimed at disenfranchising them.

According to him, an unnamed security operative hinted the party and accordingly advised them to relay the plot to all members who may be considering VIP buses as means of transportation on December 7.

According to the former minister, the plot is basically targeted at persons traveling from Accra to Kumasi on the Election Day on suspicion they will be voting for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

He told Kwame Adinkra on Abusua Nkomo on Thursday that it plan had been prearranged for implementation adding that the NDC believes majority of those passengers will end up voting for the main opposition party.

”Kwame let me tell you this; the NDC is plotting to hijack the movement of all VIP buses from Accra to Kumasi who will be working on the day of voting with the conviction of preventing people who intend to vote for Nana Addo access to do so”

Uncle Attoh, a leader of at VIP bus terminal however refuted the purported accusation and challenged Osei Kwame Prempeh to come to their office and boldly disclose the person behind the plot with the NDC.
