Amasaman (GA), Nov. 15, GNA - The National Democratic Congress (NDC) executive members of the Trobu-Amasaman Constituency has called for the postponement of the executive election of the constituency. Briefing the Ghana News Agency, Mr Gordin Tetteh, the NDC Co-ordinator of the constituency said about 80 per cent of the members had kicked against the nomination of Mr. Thomas Okine, former Chairman of the constituency as unopposed.

Mr Tetteh said Mr Okine could not serve invitation letters for all the members of the constituency to enable them to participate in the elections in their numbers, instead he served only a few of his favourites, who attended the function to elect him unopposed. Mr Tetteh further stated that Mr Okine did not serve many delegates with election forms and other documents needed for the elections. Mr Emmanuel Kotey, Chairman of Ofankor Electoral area, when contacted said a new date

would be fixed to enable majority of the executive members to elect the right executive members person.
