Begoro (E/R), Sept. 11, GNA- The National Organizer of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has said if voted into power, the NDC would undertake development projects that would be beneficial to the electorates.
Mr Ofosu-Ampofo, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Fanteakwa made the call at a constituency delegates' conference of the party at Begoro on Thursday.
He called on supporters of the party to remain calm in the face of provocations and intimidations by their opponents. He said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has worsen the plight of Ghanaians within a short time in office and urged the electorate to vote it out in December.
Mr Ofosu-Ampofo expressed concern about the refusal of the NPP government to give credit to the NDC for undertaking a number of projects in the country.
He said the government has deliberately refused to acknowledged the achievements of the NDC so that the electorates would not have the full facts about all that NDC did.
Mr Ofosu-Ampofo said he was not happy at the low turn out of voters during the just ended mopping-up for the photo taking exercise in the district.
