The political inclination of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is to ensure that the national wealth meander through every segment of the society to reflect its social democratic tenets, says Mr Justice Yeboah, party activist.
Mr Yeboah, a staff at the NDC National Headquarters in Accra, was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Ho during a workshop for NDC Constituency Women’s Organisers across the country.
He said the value of a government is measured by its capacity to impact positively on the lives of the masses.
He said there is the need for the redistribution of the national wealth and the provision of policies to support and protect the weak in Ghana.
Mr Yeboah said the coming years would see the NDC strengthening its social democratic credentials as its presence in the comity of the global social democratic movement grows.
Dr Karl Mark Arhin, Deputy Head of International Affairs Directorate of the NDC, said the party is building fraternal links with social democratic parties worldwide.
The workshop organised in collaboration with the Social Democratic Party of Denmark was part of the process to imbibe the ranks of the NDC with the party’s distinct all-round national development policy preferences.
