NPP does not believe in justice – NDC Guru

Deputy National Propaganda Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah, claims the plaintiffs in the election petition suit were not seeking for justice at the Supreme Court but were rather hoping the nine-member panel of Judges will suppress the wish of Ghanaians.

“NPP was conditioning the 9 judges with no justice, no peace cry…threatening them because they (NPP) believed in favor rather than in justice,” he opined.

Speaking on OkayFM, he was of the conviction that nothing untoward will happen in the 2016 election as many NPP faithful would have Ghanaians believe; adding that the era where ballot boxes were whisked away from polling stations is over.

“…the political parties and both local and foreign observers will participate keenly in the 2016 election…no ways and means will rule…” he stressed.

The NDC National Propaganda Secretary added that Ghanaians are discerning enough and will, therefore, ensure that Presiding Officers do their work well so that the elections do not end up in court.

“…the NPP should be circumspect in the way they address Ghanaians, not as if they are addressing their followers... NPP should realize that elections have reached the era where political parties have to convince the ordinary Ghanaian to share, reason and believe in their activities to win their votes voluntarily, rather than applying force over them,” he admonished.
