Ghana’s Consul-General to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Kamal-Deen Abdulai, has emphasised that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a development-focused government committed to the advancement of Ghanaians.

In his remarks, he stated that the NPP is the only political party capable of bringing meaningful transformation and development to the country when it assumes power.

Speaking during a campaign tour in the Nanton constituency of the Northern Region, he highlighted the achievements of the NPP government under former President Kufuor.

He pointed out that policies such as the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP), the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), and the Salary Loan initiative were pivotal in transforming the lives of Ghanaians across the nation.

“It was under former President Kufuor’s leadership that Ghana gained international recognition, and I can confidently say that the NPP government is highly respected globally for its focus on development.

"However, whenever the NDC comes into power, the country fails to make significant progress,” he stated, urging voters to choose wisely in the upcoming election.

Alhaji Kamal-Deen Abdulai appealed to the people of Nanton and surrounding areas to vote overwhelmingly for the NPP on December 7, ensuring that more developmental projects are brought to the constituency.
