NPP is the only development-oriented unifying party – NAPO

The Running Mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has described the ruling party as the only development-oriented unifying party.

The Manhyia South lawmaker, along with his colleague from Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, and other top officials, visited the Wenchi constituency over the weekend as part of their election campaign in the Bono Region.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh and his entourage paid homage to the paramount chief of Wenchi in his palace. During his address at the Grand Durbar, Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted the development achievements of the NPP, describing the ruling party as the only development-oriented unifying party in the country.

“I was told that when a bad person is made to rule a country, the country is doomed, but when a good person is made to rule over people, the country develops. This shows that not all political parties are worth giving a chance to rule, but the NPP is the only party in Ghana worth the opportunity.

"We want a government that can bring unity, peace, and development,” he stated.

He also added, “We don’t want a government that will cause division through religion or tribal differences,” and urged the people of Wenchi to vote for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Wenchi Constituency, Kojo Frimpong.
