Sefwi-Bekwai, (W/R), Oct 19, GNA - The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the weekend launched its campaign at Sefwi-Bekwai to introduce Mr. Christopher Addai, the District Chief Executive as the party's parliamentary candidate for the December polls. The campaign was also designed to put the party's preparations and activities in the constituency into high gear to ensure an outright victory in the elections.

Mr. Kojo Acquah, the Western Regional Organiser of the NPP told the teeming party supporters that the NPP had come to correct the wrongs of the previous government, which discriminated against communities that did not support it by denying them of their share of developments.

He called on Ghanaians to disabuse their minds of the lies being peddled around by the opposition against the NPP and rather give their maximum support to President Kufuor to retain the Presidency to enable him to continue with the good work he had started.

Mr. Addai urged the people to take account of the number of development projects that had been executed in the area under the NPP administration within its relatively short period in power and renew the party's mandate for another four-year term. He advised the party supporters to redouble their efforts during the campaign since the party can win the elections only through hard work.
