The campaign team of a leading Chair Aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the newly created Savannah Region, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana alias Kalamonia is organising people to give President Nana Akufo Addo a massive welcome to the area.
The campaign team explains that President Nana Addo deserves an unprecedented welcome to the Savannah Region.
The President as part of his nationwide tour of the newly created regions is scheduled to visit the Savannah Region beginning Saturday, May 18 to 19, 2019.
Ahead of the President's visit, Kalamonia's campaign team is crisscrossing the seven constituencies in the area encouraging the people to give the President a rousing welcome.
The team insists that citizens of the area have to overwhelmingly express their appreciation for the creation of the new region.
Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana Kalamonia is tipped to win to the upcoming NPP Chair race in the Savannah Region.
As one of the party's bankrollers there, the delegates have declared their non-negotiable support for him.
They are convinced that he is capable of leading the NPP to win all seven Parliamentary seats in the Savannah Region at the 2020 polls.
According to them, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana is a time tested politician whose sacrifice and loyalty to the NPP's progress overtime cannot be downplayed.
Checks revealed that, almost all the NPP's bigwigs in the region are campaigning for Iddrisu Sulemana to be the first Regional Chairman.
He was in the last NPP Northern Regional race for the first Vice Chairmanship.
Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana alias Professor Kalamonia is a true blue member of the Danquah- Busia-Dombo political tradition.
He is a native of Daboya, capital of North Gonja in the Savannah Region.
He started his political career during his secondary school days.
Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana is a known Orator and a time tested politician liked by many people in the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He operates the largest photo studio in Northern Ghana and he is also into commercial transport business.
