Hajia Fati and Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso Boakye
A vociferous member of the New Patriotic Party popularly known as Hajia Fati in a fit of rage verbally attacked Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso Boakye, raining insults on him at the party’s headquarters in Accra Wednesday.
The Deputy Chief of Staff had gone to the party headquarters where the Steering Committee is currently locked up in a closed door meeting, over the Deputy General Secretary of the party, Nana Obiri Boahene’s allegations he made about the seat of government, Flagstaff House in a leaked secretly recorded conversation.
Eye witnesses say, suddenly, and unprovoked, Hajia Fati who’s based at the party headquarters burst out insulting Mr Asenso Boakye, accusing him of denying her and other colleagues who have toiled for the party to come into power, the needed resources to make their lives better.
According to Hajia Fati, she doesn’t understand why Mr Asenso Boakye who’s neither an official of the party nor works at the Party Headquarters will attend this all important meeting, and further vowed to make sure the latter leaves the premises.
Stoutly built security personnel at the venue had to put in a lot of effort before they could restrain and whisk away Hajia Fati who’s known to be a woman who can be physical sometimes.
